With over a decade of piano teaching experience and a bachelor's degree from California State University at Fullerton, Jacqueline is not just another music educator. She is the founder of Defined Music Teacher, a web-based coaching business aimed at helping music teachers improve their studios through a unique, well-defined philosophy.

This philosophy centers on the innovative Defined Music Teacher Triangle, a framework that focuses on the core aspects of business, teaching, and technology, and how they intersect to form digital pedagogy, business technology, and operational pedagogy to offer a well-rounded approach to music teaching businesses. But Jacqueline's skills extend beyond the classroom. She's also a shrewd businesswoman who owns and operates her own studio, High Desert Piano.

In recognition of her leadership within the community, Jacqueline has previously served as the Vice President of the Riverside Chapter of CAPMT, the California arm of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). This role underlines her commitment to the profession and offered a platform for her to share her innovative approaches to teaching and business.

When she's not teaching, running her businesses, or contributing to professional organizations, Jacqueline enjoys spending her time with her family in Southern California, and finds solace in solving crosswords, indicative of her analytical mindset. 

Her musical inspiration comes from Fanny Mendelssohn, particularly the piece Das Jähr, which speaks to her both on a professional and personal level. Jacqueline is particularly interested in underrepresented female classical composers like Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann, and Amy Beach. During her time at university, she took the opportunity to shine the spotlight on these composers, featuring Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre, Fanny Mendelssohn, and Lili Boulanger in her senior recital.
